7 Questions 1) In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? For my media product, I created my own music magazine. It does follow the code and conventions of a real, professional, published music magazine. I researched different types of music magazines and went to my local supermarket and purchased a couple of music magazines that relate to the genre of mus ic I used, which was pop, to help give me an idea of what a professional music magazine consists of. break down the TA more and look at tribes.
bring in some theorists to explain how the text meet gratifications and needs of the TA
Make sure that you look at representation including signs and signifiers for age, race, sex and nationality. talk specifically about the images you have used and how those characters are representative of a social group.
